As R&D Lead Computer Engineer, I created the world's first IoT trucking logistics system, representing a paradigm shift in transportation technology. This 3rd generation system was 20x faster and more efficient than previous solutions, generating $500,000 per month in operational savings.

The Mobile-I system integrated GPS tracking, vehicle diagnostic data (SAE J1708, J1939), and Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) for instant billing from delivery receipts. The platform communicated in real-time with central dispatch through a custom UDP protocol optimized for cellular networks.

This project required developing custom motherboards, proprietary embedded operating systems based on Windows NT & XP Embedded, and touch-screen interfaces ruggedized for commercial vehicle environments. The system replaced manual paper-based processes with instant digital communication, revolutionizing freight logistics operations.
